Mark D. Zand, 54, joined Wexford in 1996 and became a Partner in 2001. Mr. Zand’s responsibilities include research and trading in fixed income, distressed securities and coal. He has served on the boards and creditors’ committees of a number of private companies in which Wexford has held investments. From 1980-96, Mr. Zand worked for Merrill Lynch where he attained the position of Managing Director in High Yield/Distressed Securities Trading and Sales, and Sales Manager. From 1976-80, Mr. Zand worked at Stuart Brothers and E.F. Hutton. Mr. Zand holds an APC in finance and an MBA from New York University and a BA with distinction in economics from the University of Michigan.
